Even in VFP6 you did not need to use append blank. Since FP2.6 been
using INSERT INTO <mytable> FROM MEMVAR. For situations where you had
exclusive access (a cursor you just created or when buffering) you could
use append blank but usually tried to avoid it from earlier experiences
with live tables and locking ;-)
