You need to step back and look at the big picture.

All of the HR departments are adopting the same set of rules.

The bigger ones will lead.
The smaller ones will eventually fall in line.

One of these days you will quit focusing on the "object" and realize that if
you do not know what all of the pieces are doing, you are going to be on the
receiving end of the fallout

Simply because the very same rules that apply to software, apply to life as
well

You talk about age of employees by M$ being too old.  Why would my HR
department listen to them?

You are not making sense here.  M$ has their needs/demand for work and Ring
Container has it's own needs.
