Maybe. If you're sending the emails through your in-house or ISP mail
server, there would be a record of them passing through. If you're
sending directly to the recipient's address, no, I don't think there's
any way to determine emails are successful if you lose the log.

You could always bcc the messages to an email address you control to
see which emails were sent, effectively creating a "sent" folder.
