That tidbit is probably secret. To store enough air for any kind of 
range they would need either huge tanks or tremendous pressure. Since 
the car is small that rules out huge tanks.

Consider the air starters on the old Consolidated Freightways diesel 
tractors.

They always started, but look at the size of the tank. This was the 
energy equivalent to the battery pack of a golf cart. Enough for the 
golf cart to do 30 miles, maybe.
