Funny you should mention this... we are looking at MetroPCS as well. My
contract at Verizon ends next week. For 2 phones and one data plan we're
playing about $125 a month. Plus the home phone...

We can get 3 unlimited voice/data/web phones for less than we're paying now for
2 and a house phone. Did I mention I have an 11-year old daughter who wants a
cell phone for Christmas? MetroPCS has 4G service in our area (LA), and
supposedly 3G in all other areas that matter to us (San Diego, Las Vegas,
Phoenix, Sioux Falls...). Granted they don't have the super-cool phones
Verizon does - but they don't' have the high prices either.

Any reviews/comments good or bad about MetroPCS greatly appreciated.

Lou

Subject: [NF] Is anyone using any prepaid cell phones and how is the service?

I'm currently using the Verizon $59.95 plan which always costs around $72.00
with taxes and fees.  My contract is up shortly.

I've seen the $49.95 unlimited plans from MetroPCS which include fees and
taxes.

I've seen the prepaid phones from Net 10 and Trakfone.   Is anyone using them
and how do you like them?
