Thanks, Richard.

I got the files you pointed out, put them in the same directory but they
made no difference. Then I did a thorough search through all my disks
for files beginning with VF* and as before found mainly spare/backup
copies of the original development material.

In the end my priorities have changed.  Looking for runtime is becoming
a time waster. I'm going to focus on rebuilding the Win machine, get the
development system completely reinstated and start over with the latest
PJX file.

 From what I've seen tonight, there is a lot to re-learn.
