No. Let's not make things up.
* If the users are local (domain matches mydestination), then LMTP
delivery is correctly handled via mailbox_transport.
* If the users are virtual (domain matches virtual_mailbox_domains),
then via virtual_transport.
You only need both if you have both local (mydestination) domains,
and virtual (mailbox) domains.
