check where root: is deliveing mails to in /etc/mail/aliases

if its delivered to an alias without @ then myorigin in postfix main.cf 
will be added before delivering


# example to another system user

root: foo

# example to another outside address

root: f...@example.org


remember to run

newaliases
postfix reload

but as you have not shown postconf -n yet i cant help more
