I build/use Postfix with LMDB. Works great.
Looking at distro packages, don't alway find LMDB support compiled in.
I can certainly rebuild my own, but wanted to check first:

does that 'like' possibly include alternatives for building/adding LDMB support
an addon/extension? i.e., something we can trivially add-on to a
distro-isntalled package that lacks it?
or is LMDB necessarily a compiled-in option only?
