neither does this.  this only disables unauthenticated relaying, but allows
incoming mail/spam from unauthenticated clients.

Dear Matus,

I fear I don't understand this. We *want* to disable unauthenticated relaying, otherwise we're an open relay, and we *want* to allow incoming mail from unauthenticated clients, otherwise our users wouldn't be able to receive any mail - aside from other users of my mail system (who authenticate). So unless we're paraphrasing each other, this is, effectively, *forcing* authentication to *relay* (outbound) mail while still accepting unauthenticated mail as final delivery (inbound).

Yassine.
