I’d bet money on that being caused by a broken OpenSSL installation too. Check your OpenSSL setup before you do *anything* else. References to this dubious (and unnecessary) eopenssl directory should be ringing alarm bells. You'll probably be best to nuke whatever OpenSSL stuff is in /usr/local and start again from scratch.
