With an after-queue content filter, to prevent the before-filter Postfix SMTP server from rejecting virtual_alias_maps or canonical_maps addresses as "user unknown": - Don't specify "receive_override_options = no_address_mappings" in main.cf. - Don't specify "receive_override_options = no_address_mappings" with the pickup daemon. - Don't specify "receive_override_options = no_address_mappings" with any before-filter Postfix SMTP server. - Don't specify "receive_override_options = no_address_mappings" with the smtp port (port 25). - Don't specify "receive_override_options = no_address_mappings" with the submission port (port 587). - Don't specify "receive_override_options = no_address_mappings" with the smtps port (port 465).
