because some nameserver registered for the PTR of your IP works sane and gives a result you need to read logs complete there are different cases of "unknown" and it is not the same having only a PTR as most ISP's are doing for their ranges or not have a macthing A/PTR have nothing of that and forward private addresses leads to what you have seen in your setup
