This means one of the following: - procmail exited with status EX_TEMPFAIL - Postfix had a fatal run-time error after fork() (for example unable to execute procmail). But in that case it would log a "fatal" message first. Some Linux systems log warnings in a different file than normal activity. That is incredibly unhelpful, and makes trouble shooting much harder.
