Yes, it invokes postfix - no one said otherwise - but it invokes postfix
via the PICKUP service, not via the SMTPD daemon, as your log clearly
shows - and messages submitted like this are not subject to the various
smtpd_mumble restrictions, as your evidence also clearly shows.
I believe some serious book-learning is in order...
