There's no good reason not to use LDA, and many upsides to using it: 1. Superior performance as messages are indexed during delivery. Without LDA, all messages are indexed when the user logs in. If the user implements MUA sorting, you have a double performance hit that can be avoided with LDA. 2. Sieve works with LDA to do server side message sorting during delivery, cutting down dramatically on IO and CPU load compared to the client centric sorting method. 3. Sieve provides for the vacation auto-responder function, marked-as-spam sorting, etc. -- Stan
