I don't Stan, the Postfix documentation says (ever since the time that dinosaurs were stomping around on earth): relayhost (default: empty) ... On an intranet, specify the organizational domain name. ... relayhost = $mydomain The same text appears in the stock main.cf file. Believe it or not, this is the setting that I use every day. I expect that there will be other people who specify their domainm so that they don't have to worry about what their mailhost(s) is(are) called today. With Postfix, ALL SMTP DESTINATIONS are subject to MX lookup unless the destination is inside []. It would be a major WTF to break that rule for relayhost. Wietse
