Hi Noel,

I have changed MX priority to high for mailhub, it has taken 5 hours to update,
but when i checked with host -t mx example.com from mailhub.example.com still
it shows mailhub as low priority, from external server it shows mailhub as high
priority.

During this period i am able to send mails from mailhub using webmail but when
i reply mails are not reaching new or old server but maillog in mailhub shows
status=sent and relay= old Mail server IP instead of mailhub IP.

Again when revert back MX priority low to mailhub.example.com
mails are reaching old servers.

Suggestions please to resolve the issue.

Thanks and Regards,
Ramesh

"relay access denied" means that example.com is not listed in
mydestination, virtual_domains, virtual_alias_domains, or
relay_domains.  Postfix doesn't think it's responsible for
that domain.

Depends on your DNS TTL and if the remote site has your
records cached.  Anywhere from a couple minutes to a couple
weeks for sites that have the old records cached.  No delay
for sites that don't have your records cached.

Mail will be sent to the old primary if that's what remote
sites have cached.

It's customary to reduce your DNS TTL a few days prior to
planned changes.
