The list comes from our clients' subscriptions. However, we didn't
verify the ownership of the emails before which maybe lead to invalid
email addresses. This is what we can improve in future.

Large scale bulk-email is 99% list management and 1% software/hardware
delivery infrastructure.
If you err on the side of not mailing users whose voluntary subscription
status is uncertain, you should be able to improve your sender
"reputation" over time.
