For a detailed discussion of using SASL authentication, don't waste time debugging, and instead find the answer in the (surprise) SASL_README file. I have a great deal of respect for system administrators. I put about the same time into documenting Postfix as into writing code. When you are looking for something that is not in the documentation then that is NOT IMPLEMENTED. Wietse
