Don't read into my words. It's a valid question, which will in fact
reveal more useful information.
He provided an example of a reputable MTA that provides a way to do
something that he would like to do in postfix, and politely asked if it
was possible.
There is nothing wrong with him asking, and it is not really any of your
business why he wants to do it, although explaining why might reveal
that there is an alternative way to accomplish his goal...
