Received a mail today from a user that sent a e-mail which immediately bounced...... The bounce message said: host bla.bla.bla[xxx.xxx.xxx] said: 550-SPF check SOFT fail. Your are not allowed to send mail from 550 ourdomain.com. (in reply to RCPT TO command) As far as I understand from the whole SPF perspective, shouldn't a Soft Fail be a 4** error and re-try, instaid of a hard 550 and just bounce the message?
