That is only if you want local users to be able to use DSPAM. That 
--with-userdir is NOT required if you don't have any local users or don't want 
to consider user homes.

DSPAM would do what you want EXCEPT if you need/want the DSPAM Web UI then it 
will fail because of the filesystem requirements.
