Have you tried Sendmail, Exim, Qmail and/or other MTAs? Do any/all of them handle this "problem" "correctly" for you? If so, why are you not using them, instead of asking Wietse to "fix" something that he (and most others) don't consider "broken"? I'm somewhat new to the game. I've only been running Postfix since Q4 '05. In that time I can't recall ever having the issue you describe. It sounds like you have this problem often. Why is that? Who are all of these sites/orgs sending you mail from hosts with multiple PTRs? Can you cite a few examples of such hosts so I can investigate? -- Stan
