While not specifically Postfix-related, I think it is lamentable that IPv6 is still treated like an unwanted stepchild even by "big" (as in volume) players. As was mentioned earlier, a mail server *requires* IPv4 connectivity to have a fighting chance. As for hosters, I find Hetzner's approach interesting: All their products come with a /64 IPv6 subnet included, while IPv4 addresses are an optional addon, billed separately. That makes IPv6-only connectivity both the default and the cheaper option. One might argue that Hetzner is using this to fill their coffers, but I see it as being transparent about where the combined cost is originating.
