The issue seems to be gone. Hmm. I did one config change in postfix, which could correlate with the start of the issue. in main.cf I changed compatibility_level to 2 (previous non-existant) and added localhost to mydestination. But since I did the modifications in dovecot config, everythings seems to be fine.
