It can. It's probably a better idea than using OpenDKIM, because that project seems dead as best as I can tell, it has had no commits for 7 years:

there is a develop branch. It's usable and works very well

I personally expect some progress, as DKIM2 is close to the IETF dor

like marabou chokolate :)

if it will be aproved i hope to see

amavisd support of it, and possible openarc implemtion in amavisd

hopefull it will not just be rspamd that stay at dkim, or visa verse

stupid designs of untrusted dkim :=)
