Hello.

Yes, unfortunately online on a Sunday, i should better have let
it. Anyhow. I wanted to ask for long why postfix does not
support the RFC 9057 Author: header, as it fixes a miss that
starts with DomainKeys, and goes on ever since, and reached the
mountaintop of madness with the advent of DMARC. Ie, RFC5322.From
is madness, Sender: is not even used no more by totally brain dead
email destroyers like forwardingalgori...@ietf.org, totally
rolling down RFC 5322 as such, etc etc etc.
postfix is a heavyweight, and Author is a good thing, given that
it is unlikely that anything changes to the better.
Robert Elz (kre@) says "unless it is misused also" (...), but,
until then it would/could (be used) as an improvement?

Thank you,
