Well, IPv6 addresses take up more space than IPv4 addresses.

The evidence suggests that different versions of Rocky Linux have
failed an important real-world test.

For reference, my Fedora 40 laptop has no problems with these
lookups. The OS was installed from scratch, no resolv.conf options
needed.
