Yes, we all learn!

But a lot of us here learn from all of the volunteers that spend their time developing this excellent software and provide free support to all of the "rookies". Me included.

I will grab the opportunity to thank all of you nice clever people for helping the rest of us, even though we probably ask the same stupid questions over and over again.

I have spent hours searching for help online, but have been stuck a couple of times, and you guys in here made it work every time.

THANK YOU!

All the best wishes from Denmark!

Hi!

It seems that some my statements on this list are difficult to understand
somehow.  While I usually mean one context, my statements are being interpreted
in another context.

Postfix documentation has always been an excellent example of clear brevity
to me, a high standard level which is almost unachievable elsewhere.  The
manpages are written in a way which is a) short, and b) crystal clear, and c) nothing unnecessary (see a).  The same is true for replies by Wietse on
this list.

I always tried to go this route, to make as short and clear statements as
possible, but I always end up with both long and unclear.

It's a good challenge for me to (try to) keep up to these high standards.
Apparently it doesn't work as good as I'd like it to be.  I'm sorry for
this.  I'm trying to improve.

Also, we all learn (hopefully :) - including learning how others view current situations, so it is possible to adopt ones writing to ways how the intended
audience interpreting it.

I haven't been reading this list for many years (since 2010 or so), and
the way I express my thought apparently needs some tweaking to be read
like how I wanted it to be read.  I'm trying.

Thank you for your patience.

/mjt
