Nothing needs to be "done" to Cyrus of course, all I'm suggesting is arranging for the Postfix compiled-in default of "cyrus_sasl_config_path" to be the preferred Debian "/etc/postfix/sasl:/usr/lib/sasl" (IIRC), which then takes effect if the user did not specify an alternative location.
