if you use dovecot as your imap/pop server, and if you don't need
maildrop features, then yes, just use dovecot LDA.

If you don't need maildrop features (ability to run any external
command, ability to do pattern matching with $MATCH things [not yet
supported by dovecot]), then use dovecot LDA.
