One thing to be aware of... dovecot sasl auth does not support CLIENT side SASL suth, only server side... So, if you use postfix, and need postfix to be able to SASL_AUTH as a CLIENT to other servers - e.g. for relaying - then you'll still need cyrus_sasl... -- Best regards, Charles
