The backup is still affected with some unknown issue that the primary also had. Time ran out (so I built a new vm), and I have both vm's so I plan to revisit the issue with a tcpdump once I can segment the vm's and reduce the traffic to something manageable. I can reproduce the issue with an email forward from a gmail account. In order for me to get this mail into the mailbox server, the easiest thing for me would be to simply inject it into the queue on the working server. Thanks, jlc
