Anyone recognize the MTA in question by the form of its EHLO response?
Apart from the banner, it looks a bit like Sendmail (HELP and
DELIVERBY).
Connection refused is more typical of traffic shaping firewalls in
front
of the MTA. And in that case, you may need to get on Wachovia's
whitelist.
A little googling hasn't shed any light-- where can one obtain smtp-
finger?
