If the OP allows messages from all senders to postmaster@ and/or abuse@ (the so called "role" accounts), then this isn't a big deal.

Most people don't even know what "postmaster" is.

I would not implement this.
Use something like denyhosts to ban repeat offenders ip addresses,
there are other programs like denyhosts but I can't remember the names
as it is morning and I am going to work now.

But then again it is your server. :)
