Hello, we are currently running and have been very happy with, Postfix and a MySQL backend. Along with this we have Courier Pop3, SASL, Amavis-new, various anti-virua/spam stuff, Mailman and PostfixAdmin. This provides us with some very good functionality which we would like to retain.
However, I would like to add a directory service to our server and assume the logical choice would be OpenLDAP. Can we integrate OpenLDAP into what we have currently? Or do I have to switch from MySQL to OpenLDAP as the backend. Ideally we would like to have replication between OpenLDAP and MySQL. I realize this question may not be Postfix specific, but I wanted to start here to see if anyone else has done similar setups already. Thanks! -Jeff
