No, if it suites your needs install it. It's better than 7.7.3, but ...
I don know how you installed lame on your nas but be aware that you
might loose your lame when updating to 7.9.0. Synology unfortunately
doesnt add lame to there packages because of license reasons. Its in
most LmsRepack packages, including the one for the cedarview (DS1813+).
