So...after having some trouble with the library move working, I purged and reinstalled using a 7.7.2 nightly. I then did the cachedir move and serverprefs update and completed a scan of all but the artwork. I also did a script that I found on peterweb.org modified to the prior instructed cachedir location as follows (leaving in the cache directory move command should you prefer to do it all at once):
chown squeezeboxserver.nogroup /DataVolume/cache/squeezeboxserver/ mv /var/lib/squeezeboxserver/* /DataVolume/cache/squeezeboxserver/ cat <<EOF /etc/default/squeezeboxserver PREFSDIR=/DataVolume/cache/squeezeboxserver/prefs CACHEDIR=/DataVolume/cache/squeezeboxserver EOF /etc/init.d/squeezeboxserver stop /etc/init.d/squeezeboxserver start Additionally, I have found that a browser initiated restart does @#$@#@!. Using SSH, issuing /etc/init.d/squeezebox seems to do the trick though. lsof -i also proves a nice command for seeing if your twonky and squeezebox ports are running and playing nice together. Finally, I learned that the AutoRescan, CustomSkip, DynamicPlaylist, and LazySearch (or at best one of or a combination thereof) hate 7.7.2. -- timmyshaft ------------------------------------------------------------------------ timmyshaft's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=54222 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=84735 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
