..except that the WD mybook is not an oficially suported device ,so it really is up to some entusiast to make i run on it. And WD do they provide ? Readynas support comes from logitech, qnap and linksys build and maintain their package and supports it. The open source nature of the server makes it possible to port to almost anything and logitech can't stop you , but they are not obliged to help every one. And how could they ? Software that runs everything does not rely exist. So if not where opennsource it would not at all be possible to try on the WD ? If you want trouble free LMS run it on a computer nas=pain ( oversimplification I know but.. ) read back in the tread Michaels hint actually helped one guy, and in the past a lot of people have runned in to memory limits, so it is a valid concern. -- Mnyb -------------------------------------------------------------------- Main hifi: Touch + CIA PS +MeridianG68J MeridianHD621 MeridianG98DH 2 x MeridianDSP5200 MeridianDSP5200HC 2 xMeridianDSP3100 +Rel Stadium 3 sub.
