The reason: If I don't power off or move the receiver to mysqueezebox.com, it'll consume more power and light up blue when the server turns off (quite annoying)
As far as I understand the SBC (controller) is responsible for sending the Wake-On-Lan signal. Is this incorrect? > Also, when you run your SCCLITool.exe script, are you using the SBR's > mac address, or the SBC's?Always the SBR (receiver). > Usually, if your player looses the ability to WOL your server, the > solution is to perform a factory reset of the player and set it up > again. Only got one receiver - so far :) > I will say this: with the SBC, because it is an actual 'computer', you > can hack some of the scripts on it's OS so that it will WOL your server > every time you turn the SBC on. It is a bit strange though: When I used SvrPowerControl with 7.3 I configured it to move idle players to squeezenetwork.com and turn them off. I always worked perfect! Now, using just the tool I cannot WOL the server and I cannot power off a player once it has been moved to mysqueezebox.com. Hmm... is the SvrPowerControl plugin working with 7.4 now? If it is, maybe I should just quit trying control this myself and turn back control to SvrPowerControl -- Innocence ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Innocence's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=31572 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=48521 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
