Looks to be a BBC mistake as the "cannot play the requested program" file played is the RealAudio file. I get this file whether I am using AlienBBC iPlayer Addon or iPlayer uising Browser
I assume you are in the UK. Non UK users can only hear RealAudio file whereas UK users have an MP3 stream as well as RealAudio - I assume you are hearing the MP3 stream.
