Soon when you don't indicate you have the player at 100% and have a digital connection the plugin will not send any volume commands to the AVR. So you will just set the AVR (like power on default or Quick Select) and the volume will be adjusted by the player.
Not sure why your iPeng app does not control the volume at 100%. This was fixed years ago. I am not sure about the Domoticz system as I don't know what it is or how it works.
