well rural banks have such small revenue that they could not afford even a unix-based core banking system such as Temenos, Ambit, or iFlex..
that wasn't what i had in mind... besides we shouldn't hold up rural banks as examples... it's that sort of shoddy management that resulted in the Legacy scandal.
