First and foremost, make sure that you're buying a low watt CPU. For AMD based CPUs, you can look for it at http://www.amdcompare.com/us-en/ For other components for your PC, make sure you add all their power consumptions to have an idea on the total power consumption of your PC. That's the time that you decide what PSU are you going to use.
