Hi, I'm planning to build another PC. I'm already speccing out the parts. I'm going for the Intel Core2. Not yet decided if I need virtualization "VT" - if I don't, I might go as low as the E2xxx. The E4xxx on the other hand is going to have its US price drop on the 21st (and soon after in PH, I hope!)
How are today's motherboards with Linux? I'm looking at the Intel P965 chipset, such the MSI P965NEO-F. The Intel SATA chip is supposed to be good according to the Linux+SATA page - how is it in real life? Does NCQ work already? Other parts in mind: - Palit GeForce 8500GT - for dual head, in case the rig becomes a serious workstation!
