Last year, I had a muti-boot configuration, and SmartBro would only work on
one OS (set?) at a time. If I've recently used XP or 2000 and booted to
Kubuntu or Fedora, I wouldn't be able to use it unless I authenticate. And
when I boot back to Windows, SmartBro would require re-authentication.

So I did the Smart(!) thing and completely wiped any traces of Windows on all
my computers. Now my family only uses Linux... and we've never been happier.
You may have heard some stuff regarding using SmartBro on Linux, but don't
bother checking it out. I've been using Torrents, P2P, etc. without any
problems.

You do need to know though that SmartBro uses a LAN-type setup and you'll only
have a private IP address (192.x.x.x). So if you're planning on hosting a
server, then I highly suggest you sign up for PLDT since they won't forward
ports. But SmartBro is suitable for everything else, and I've been using it
for 2 years already without any problems (maybe a few outages every now and
then.. 1-2 hours every two months)

Hope you find this useful.
