Whenever I wget the Fedora 7 DVD from the following site, or from the Georgia Tech site, or from Mirrors.kernel.org, or from fr2.rpmfind.net:
http://ftp.iij.ad.jp/pub/linux/fedora/releases/7/Fedora/i386/iso/F-7-i386-DVD.iso my laptop HANGS! Repeat: My laptop hangs! If I use my laptop for anything else (like for composing and trasmitting this email, or compiling a C++ program), my laptop is its usual robust self. I am connected to the Internet via Ateneo de Davao's wireless hotspot2, if that is any clue to what is happening. So what is happening to my download? I can not even start it, since my laptop hangs every time I try. Help! Help! Help! P~Manalastas
