They are not alternatives.

The very basic principle, ideology, and philosophy of source code that
we so truly believe in is the most important thing. Whatever the other
software does or does not do is immaterial when it is closed source.
There is no room for comparison at all!

But, when you say it is alternative, people will start to compare, and
fail in understanding the fundamental reason as to why Free Software
exists in the first place.
