Hi,
   Nothing against any magazine, but, 150 bucks for free (as in beer)
software is a bit too much unless you have absolutely no option left. If you
have an unlimited broadband connection then you could download it yourself.
Once you get the hang of downloading - using bittorrent, selecting a
suitable download manager, scheduling downloads according to your broadband
plan etc.. you can download whichever Linux distribution you wish to try
out. If you dont have a good connection, you can get the DVD copied from a
friend or a pluggie. I am not an Ubuntu user, otherwise i would have
certainly shared it.
